  I was inquiring about damaged merchandise that I was willing to purchase... I asked the manager she said the best she can do is 10% lie one... I asked the other manager who confirmed they could do more. They then tried to convince me to buy one full price they could order it.... This was the game. Mind you the $$80 for the piece is a drop in the bucket for me so price wasn't the issue, but I I am a bargain shopper. So I left and called customer service. Customer service informed me that they could have done better and also tried to get me to buy one at full price. Hey did offer to give me 25% off the new one but at this point I was done with Pier 1. They said I would be contacted by the area supervisor. Here a week later no call. Called back to customer service and they do have the complaint but don't know who was supposed to follow up. Moral to the story Pier 1 does not care about losing customers and their management doesn't either. It really explains why this happened to start. Avoid Pier 1 if you want to be treated like a customer.
